Hello my gorgeous
Last weekend was the start of my birthday week and I love that in fact it falls in New Zealand during our annual Waitangi Day celebrations so this short week is all about ME!
Today’s message is about birthdays, aging and never failing to celebrate you. I notice more and more that as we get older (I like to say mature .. like expensive wine) the more we like to play down our age and birthdays. Like it is some curse haunting us to our grave.
I so often see clients’ cringe when they tell me they are reaching or have reached their 30’s, 40’s or a certain age. Like it is something we should shy about, like we have contracted a terminal disease.
I don’t know about you, however, doesn’t it seem ridiculous to deny both who we are and our precious time we have shared so far in this planet with our loved ones? Isn’t it insane that society has influenced our ability to ‘mature’ with so much grace and beauty?
So today come on and celebrate with me ... let’s have a party. The kind of party where we are all standing tall and proud of our maturity, our wisdom and life experience, where we no longer deny the totality of who we are. And ... why not prepare ourselves to receive the most precious gift this Valentines ... YOU!
Please feel free to share your comments :)
Happy birthday to you all!
